Alison Ann Sweeney is an American actor, reality host writer and director. Sweeney is most well-known for her performance as Samantha Sami Brady on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives a character she portrayed under contract on the show from January 6 1993 to October 30th 2014. Sweeney was able to decide that she was fed up with fads like grapefruit diets as well as cabbage soup in 1999. She ditched fads like drinking grapefruit or cabbage soup, and adopted healthy lifestyle changes, like taking out sodas that contain sugar, and began exercising in boot camp-style gym classes.
